This project involved the full conversion and refurbishment of a two-storey terraced house in the London Borough of Merton. The property originally comprised three bedrooms and one bathroom, with a private garden and rear garage.
Previously a dated family home, owned since 1953, the property has now been transformed into a fully licensed, high-specification HMO. The completed scheme provides five en-suite double bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, three additional kitchenettes, and an extended communal kitchen designed to support comfortable shared living.
Planning and Development
Planning permission was successfully secured for a rear extension and dormer, increasing the residential floor area of this South West London property by more than 40%.
The overall refurbishment has significantly improved the layout, functionality, and standard of accommodation, creating a modern and well-considered rental property suited to current tenant demand.
