WANDSWORTH DEVELOPMENT

Buckhold Road, SW18

Project Overview

This project involved the full conversion and refurbishment of a two-storey terraced house in the London Borough of Wandsworth. The property originally comprised three bedrooms and one bathroom, with a private garden and driveway. Previously operating as an unlicensed HMO and in very poor condition, the house has been transformed into a high-end, fully licensed HMO. The completed scheme provides five en-suite double bedrooms, five bathrooms, two additional kitchenettes, and a conservatory repurposed as a practical utility room.

Planning and Development

Planning permission was successfully secured for a dormer, rear extension, and conservatory, increasing the property’s usable residential floor space by 50%. The garden was also redesigned with a more welcoming landscape, helping to create a better overall living environment for tenants. The result is a modern, well-planned HMO finished to a high standard and suited to current rental demand in Wandsworth.
